User guide

A secretary-first walkthrough of the public site, admin, captains, players, branding, and domains. Written against the software running at the live demo.

Getting started How a new league is provisioned, first login, and the order you should set things up. The public website What spectators and players see without logging in: Match Hub, standings, fixtures, stats, and more. Ratings (Elo / FargoRate) How player Elo ratings work: Fargo-style scale, robustness, skill tiers, and head-to-head odds. Accounts and roles Super admin, team admin, and player accounts — who can do what, and how people sign in. League admin dashboard The super-admin home: counts, quick links, and where every management screen lives. Teams, players, and venues Build the directory: home pubs, squads, player profiles, and map pins. Match formats and points Describe a match night: sets, singles, doubles, and how league points are counted. Competition wizard Create a league or cup and generate the fixture list in five guided steps. Fixtures, results, and knockouts Manual fixture edits, live scoring, brackets, and draws. Team admin (captains) What captains see: league position, roster, directory, match sheets, and scorecards. Player portal Personal stats, upcoming matches, and scorecards for singles or doubles events. Branding, menus, and email Make the site look like your league: logo, colours, navigation, news, pages, and SMTP. Your own site and domain Subdomains on all four Pool League Pro domains, or a dedicated league domain we can set up for a fee. Questions secretaries ask Beta pricing, player ratings, who can enter scores, cups vs leagues, and what happens when the season ends.
